What is AAP?

Acetylacetone Peroxide (AAP) is a highly efficient medium-temperature curing agent widely used in the curing of unsaturated polyester resins (UPR), particularly excelling in fast curing processes such as RTM and CMT. As part of Evergreen’s strategic innovation in the chemical industry, AAP has gained broad industry recognition for its excellent curing performance and high brand loyalty.

Packaging and Shipping Requirements

Packaging: 30-liter HDPE drums, net weight of 30 kilograms per drum.

Shipping Conditions: It is recommended that the shipping temperature be ≤25°C, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperatures. High-temperature shipping may cause product decomposition and pose safety risks, so storage and transport conditions should be carefully controlled.

Key Advantages of AAP

1.Efficient Curing: When combined with cobalt accelerators, AAP performs exceptionally well in RTM and CMT processes, significantly accelerating curing speed and making it ideal for high-turnover mold applications.

2.Low-Temperature Curing: The combination of AAP with high concentrations of cobalt accelerators and additional accelerants allows for optimal curing at low temperatures, meeting diverse production needs.

3.Heat Release Control: Compared to traditional MEKP systems, the AAP system has a higher exothermic peak. Therefore, it is not recommended for thick part molding but offers a significant advantage in thin-layer curing.

Evergreen Recommends International Brand Products

Evergreen offers customers internationally recognized brand products, such as Nouryon’s Trigonox 44B, Arkema’s Luperox K3, and United Initiators’ Norox AZOX. Through our robust global supply chain, we bring efficient curing agents like AAP to more industry customers, promoting their application and development in both domestic and international markets.

Global Market Competitive Landscape

Although the demand for AAP in the Chinese market is relatively small, Evergreen has gradually gained customer recognition through a strong global supply chain as industry demand grows. Major global competitors in the market include Nouryon’s Trigonox 44B, Arkema’s Luperox K3, and United Initiators’ Norox AZOX. These international brands have significant influence in the industry.
